Your Rights Under the California Consumer Privacy Act

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), a company meeting certain criteria must provide privacy policies which outline California consumers’ privacy-related rights, and the obligations of the company thereto.

The CCPA gives certain consumers that reside in California (“California Consumers”) the right to know what categories of Personal Information SBL Enterprises, LLC d/b/a (“Tailored Management”) collects about them and how and for what purposes we use and share that information.

As used in this Privacy Notice, “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household. Personal Information includes, but is not limited to, the categories of Personal Information identified below if such information identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could be reasonably linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household.

Information Requests Under the CCPA

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) helps protect the personal and sensitive data of all consumers, including but not limited to, California consumers. As outlined throughout Tailored Management’s privacy policy, all consumers, including California consumers, can email Tailored Management at Info@TailoredManagement.com to request the following information, which Tailored Management as quickly as possible, usually within one to three business days:

  • The type of personal information Tailored Management has collected about you,
  • The means of collecting that information,
  • The reason(s) for collecting that information,
  • The third parties, if any, with whom that information has been shared,

Tailored Management does not sell Personal Information to any third party.

When you contact Tailored Management about your Personal Information, please clearly explain the action you would like Tailored Management to take, i.e., provide data access, portability or deletion. In order to perform any of these actions and receive your data Tailored Management requires you share sufficient Personal Information so that we are able to verify your identity.

Tailored Management will not discriminate against you based on your exercise of your rights under the CCPA.

Our attorneys, affiliates, auditors and consultants, benefits providers, our client other third parties as required by law.

Financial Information

You, family members, other third parties.

Banking and financial institution information.

To make weekly payroll deposits, payments to benefits providers (if applicable) and 401K provider (if applicable).

Our affiliates, payroll provider, financial institution, lawyers, auditors, consultants, other third parties as required by law.

Health and Other Sensitive Information

You, healthcare providers, family members, health insurance providers.

Medical history, information about treatment and diagnoses, medications, contact information of health care providers, health insurance information including but not limited to account numbers.

To fulfill our business relationship with you, including assist with all aspects of your employment, for recordkeeping and compliance, for internal business purposes and risk management

Third parties as permitted by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, as authorized by you for business related purposes, as permitted and required by law.

Compliance Data

You, third parties including those companies that help us conduct internal investigations.

Compliance program data including but not limited to data and records maintained to demonstrate compliance with applicable laws, records related to complaints, internal investigations and legal requests, records related to privacy and security incidents.

To comply with and demonstrate compliance with applicable laws.

Our affiliates, service providers, lawyers, auditors and consultants, other third parties as required by law.

Tailored Management does not sell Personal Information to third parties.

Personal Information may also be used for Everyday Business purposes, as defined by the CCPA and the following related purposes:

  • To provide the service requested by the individual and our clients or as reasonably expected given the context of the Personal information collected.
  • For identify and credential management, including identify verification and authentication, system and technology administration.
  • To protect the integrity of systems, networks, applications and data, including detecting, analyzing and resolving security threats and collaborating with cybersecurity centers and law enforcement about imminent threats.
  • For fraud detection and prevention.
  • For legal and regulatory compliance, including all uses and disclosures of Personal Information are required by law or reasonably need for compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as compliance with civil, criminal, judicial or regulatory inquiries, investigations, subpoenas and/or summons.
  • To exercise or defend the rights of Tailored Management, its employees, affiliates, customers, contractors and agents.
  • To comply with applicable tax, health and safety, anti-discrimination, immigration, labor and employment, and social welfare regulations.
  • For corporate audit, analysis and reporting.
  • To enforce contracts and protect against injury, theft, legal liability, fraud and abuse, to protect people and property.
  • To de-identify data or create aggregated datasets.
  • To create back-up copies for business continuity and disaster recovery purposes.
  • For corporate governance, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

What are Your Rights?

If you are a California consumer, you have certain rights with respect to Tailored Management’s use and disclosure of your Personal Information:

You have the right to request the following from Tailored Management:

  • The categories of Personal Information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting the Personal Information, the categories of third parties with whom we share Personal Information, the categories of Personal Information shared and the reasons for sharing the Personal Information.
  • A copy of the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you in the preceding 12 months.

Right to Deletion

You have the right to request that Tailored Management delete the Personal Information we collect from you. However, in certain situations we are not required to delete your Personal Information, including when the information is necessary to complete the transaction for which the Personal Information was collected, to provide a good or service requested by you, to comply with a legal obligation, to engage in research, to secure our website or other online services or to otherwise use your Personal Information internally in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.

Right Not to be Subject to Discrimination

Should you exercise any of your privacy rights as a California Consumer, we will not discriminate against you by offering you different by providing you with a different level or

quality of services, based solely upon your request. However, in some circumstances, for example where you have requested or consented to our services that use your Personal Information to provide the service, we may not be able to provide a service if you choose to delete your Personal Information.

To exercise any of these rights, or to designate an agent or authorized representative to act on your behalf, you can contact us at info@TailoredManagement.com to submit an electronic request for the deletion of your Personal Information. When you submit a Data Subject Rights request through one of these designated methods, we will use the information you submit and the information we have in our systems (or through the systems of our Service Provider if we use a Service Provider) to try to verify your identity and to match the personal information we have collected about you, if any, to your identity. If we are successful in validating your identity, we will respond to your request within the time and in the manner required by CCPA. If we cannot validate your identity, we will attempt to contact you to inform you of this issue.

Job seekers who respond to the ads are asked to provide personal information via Google doc. Please be advised that Tailored Management only collects personal information through a secure portal, never via Google doc, and only when a candidate is well into the hiring process.
